So I opened my fridge and saw that my brinjal (also known as eggplant or aubergine) was a little overripe and wanted to cook it after cutting away the brown end.
Dash saw me and looked very interested, so I let him play with the brinjal.
Before this he had never seen one before so I tried asking him what he thinks it is. All he answers he gave me (raindrop, chou chou, caterpillar, cookie monster, socks) are all thought of by himself, not prompted by me in any way!! Some of the things he said are answers, like I did ask him "Is it the same as your chou chou?" and he said it's the same.
He is really beginning to be very communicative and can now speak in full sentences with his own opinions. It is hilarious and really interesting to find out what's actually going on in a 1 year old's brain.
And the eggplant DOES look like his bolster or a sock or a caterpillar! But I'm a little worried about cookie monster... Hopefully he isn't colour blind. o_O
